Amazon only shares AWD fees as a lump sum through its API, which means they appear unitemized in our reports—making it difficult to determine your true profit per item. However, Seller Central does offer a detailed breakdown of these fees.
Note: AWD fees can only be itemized from June 2025 onwards— past months can't be retroactively updated.
ConnectBooks now lets you upload and itemize AWD fees easily. Here's how:
Go to the AWD Reports Page
You'll see 4 types of AWD fees. Select the fee type you want to upload
Select the date range you want to itemize and click download.
Upload to ConnectBooks
Log in to ConnectBooks.
Go to Accounting Export, then select the relevant Amazon channel.
On the top right, click Itemize Fees.
select the type of fee you want to itemize
Upload your downloaded .CSV file.
ConnectBooks will begin processing your file, and itemization can take up to 5 minutes. Once complete, the placement fees will appear itemized per product.
Note: AWD storage fees are charged the following month. So if you upload the July charge (which covers June’s storage), the fees will be itemized in July, not June—because that’s when the charge occurred. June will remain unitemized, since the charge during June was actually for May.
If some fees still appear under "unitemized," it could be due to open settlements for the selected date range. Once those settlements close, re-upload the same report.
