In ConnectBooks, scheduling email reports with P&L data is a breeze. Follow these steps to schedule your reports efficiently:
Navigate to the Profit & Loss Report, and click on the email report icon at the top right of the screen.
1. Name Your Report:
Enter a custom name for your report template.
This name helps you identify your scheduled report easily.
2. Email Address:
Provide the email address where you want to receive the report.
3. Choose the Date Range:
Select the date range for your report data from the following options:
Yesterday
Last 7 days
Last 14 days
Month to date
Last month
Your report will include data from the chosen timeframe.
4. Set Delivery Frequency:
Decide how often you want to receive the scheduled report:
Daily
Weekly
Bi-weekly
Monthly
The system will send your report based on your chosen frequency.
5. Include Excel Attachment:
Choose whether you also want to receive the report broken down per item in an Excel sheet.
If not selected, you will receive total numbers only.
Selecting this option will attach an Excel sheet with all the detailed item breakdowns.
What Data Will Be in the Report?
In addition to the basic setup, ConnectBooks offers advanced settings to tailor your report:
Store Selection:
Your report will be based on the stores you select during the scheduling the report.
Transaction Date Setting:
Choose between Order Date or Posted Date to determine the date criteria for your report.
Product Name:
You can customize the report by specifying what the product ID should be in the Excel sheet, such as ASIN, SKU, or QuickBooks item name.
Transaction Type:
Control which types of transactions are included in your report.
Whether you want to focus on orders, refunds, or other transaction types, you can set your preferences accordingly, by selecting the transaction type before scheduling the report.

Additional Note:
If you no longer wish to receive older reports, you can easily delete them, ensuring your email inbox stays organized and clutter-free. Simply open the scheduled report module, click on "View all scheduled reports," and delete the ones you no longer want.
