The Inventory Ledger report functions similarly to a bank statement for Amazon Sellers' inventory management. It offers comprehensive inventory reconciliation, displaying starting inventory balance, received inventory, customer orders, returns, adjustments, removals, and ending balances for Amazon accounts.

How is it different from the Restock Inventory Report?
1. The Inventory ledger report does not include inbound shipments to Amazon.

2. Additionally, it's only available once the day is complete; you cannot generate a report for the current day.

3. The report is also available for foreign marketplaces, like UK, Germany, etc.

4. Moreover, it's typically more accurate due to the reconciliation component.

Default Columns:

  1. Total: This shows the total ending balance of sellable inventory in Amazon warehouses, plus the inventory in transit between Amazon fulfillment centers.

  2. Sellable: This shows the ending balance of sellable inventory in FBA warehouses

  3. In Transit Between Warehouses: This shows the units currently in transit between Amazon fulfillment centers.

  4. Asset Value: This represents the value of assets held by Amazon, calculated as the total inventory column multiplied by the cost of the items.

  5. % of Asset Value: This column shows the asset value % per item.

Additional Columns available in the column chooser:

  • Receipts: Units that were received in shipments to fulfillment centers.

  • Customer Shipments: Completed deliveries of customer orders fulfilled by Amazon.

  • Customer Returns: Units returned by buyers to fulfillment centers and returned to your inventory.

  • Warehouse Transfer In/Out: Aggregated number of units transshipped into and out of fulfillment centers.

  • Found: Units previously missing but now returned to your inventory.

  • Removed: Units removed from your inventory via a removal order and shipped out of fulfillment centers.

  • Lost: Units missing from your inventory in fulfillment centers, possibly eligible for reimbursement.

  • Disposed: Units removed from your inventory and disposed of.

  • Other Events: Units identified as damaged, eligible for reimbursement, or subject to other inventory dispositions not covered by other definitions.

  • Unknown Events: Units with unspecified event types, often due to reporting time periods spanning multiple periods. Expanding the reporting time period can reduce the number of unknowns.

  • Total Unsellable: The total number of units that are unsellable by the end of the day, including categories such as carrier damaged, customer damaged, warehouse damaged, distributor damaged, defective, and others.
