Until now, when there was a discrepancy in an FBA shipment, users had to manually investigate and adjust each shipment. Now, ConnectBooks offers auto-adjustment for FBA shipment discrepancies. Here’s how it works:
1. New "Schedule" Button
On the FBA Shipment Discrepancies page, users will now see a Schedule button in the top right corner.
2. Set Rules for Auto-Adjustment
Clicking the Schedule button allows users to define rules, including:
- Timing Rule (Required): Set how many days after a FBA shipment is closed the system should wait before taking action. For instance, you can choose to only auto-adjust discrepancies that are more than 30 days old.
- Discrepancy Threshold (Optional): Choose whether to auto-adjust only smaller discrepancies. For example, only adjust discrepancies that are less than 20% of the total shipment. This ensures larger discrepancies are still reviewed manually.
- Action to Take (Required): Choose whether the system should: - Make an Adjustment (modifies inventory levels)
- Perform a Warehouse Transfer (moves stock between warehouses)

3. Why This Matters
This feature helps users:
- Save time by reducing manual reconciliation work
- Avoid mistakes by limiting auto-adjustments to safe thresholds
- Maintain control by defining rules for when and how adjustments happen
