How to Use Workflow Tags on Purchase Orders

Workflow Tags are an optional way to track the status of your purchase orders as they move through your purchasing process.

How It Works

On any Purchase Order, you'll see an optional Workflow Tag dropdown. Click it and select a tag that reflects the current state of that PO.

You can use Workflow Tags however makes sense for your team. Common examples:

  • Shipped — the vendor has shipped the order

  • In Production — the vendor is producing the items

  • Needs Attention — something requires follow up

  • Delayed — the order is behind schedule

  • Deposit Given

You can change the tag at any time as the PO moves through your process, and filter your PO list by tag to quickly see, for example, every PO marked Needs Attention.

Filtering by Workflow Tag

On the Purchase Orders page, you can filter the PO list by Workflow Tag to quickly see, for example, every PO marked Needs Attention or every PO that's been Shipped but not yet received.

Managing Your Workflow Tags

To rename, merge, or delete a Workflow Tag, go to ConnectStock → Lists → Workflow Tags. From there you can edit any tag, merge duplicates into a single tag, or remove tags you no longer need.
