ConnectBooks could face difficulties importing historical settlement file data from Amazon because the platform archives settlement reports for certain sellers after a set period. Once these reports are archived, ConnectBooks loses access to the data through Amazon's API until the seller manually unarchives them.
βHow to resolve the issue:
β
Step 1: Login to Amazon Seller Central Go to the Amazon Seller Central website (sellercentral.amazon.com) and log in with your seller account credentials.
Step 2: Access Reports After logging in, you'll be taken to the Seller Central dashboard. Look for the "Reports" tab in the top menu and click on it.
Step 3: Choose Payments In the "Reports" section, you'll see various report options. Look
for the "Payments" section and click on it to access settlement-related reports.
Step 4: Request a Settlement Report Within the "Payments" section, you'll find different reports related to your settlements. To request a new settlement report, click on the "Generate Report" button or a similar option (the interface might change, but there should be a button to generate a new report).
β
If you sell to business customers, make sure to unarchive the invoice settlements too.
