If you use EZ Cloud for repricing and ConnectStock for inventory, ConnectBooks makes it easy to sync cost data.

How It Works

  • ConnectStock tracks your inventory and uses FIFO to calculate value.

  • EZ Cloud requires a per-item cost, not FIFO or average per order.

  • ConnectBooks converts FIFO data into an average cost per unit.

Daily Sync Process

Every day, ConnectBooks:

  1. Checks your current inventory.

  2. Calculates average cost per unit:
    Inventory Value ÷ Quantity

    • Example: 100 units valued at $100 = $1 per unit.

  3. Skips items with negative inventory to avoid sending invalid costs.

What’s Sent to EZ Cloud

ConnectBooks sends 2 data points per SKU:

  1. Average Cost – Based on current inventory value.

  2. Item Cost – A fixed cost you can set per item in ConnnectStock.

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to the Integrations page in ConnectBooks.

  2. Select EZ Cloud Integration (only avaialble if using ConnectStock).

  3. Enter:

    • Domain (e.g., pricemaker.ezcloud.com)

    • Username

    • Password

Once connected, costs sync daily to EZ Cloud, keeping your repricing accurate.
