How Crunch works

Section 1. What Crunch is
Crunch is the AI analytics assistant in ConnectBooks. It reads your account data and answers questions in plain language. Example: ask "what was my net profit last month by store" and Crunch answers from your real numbers.

Section 2. Who can use it

only accounts who are on the standard Gold, Diamond, and Platinum plans can access it.

Section 3. How to ask a question

  1. Open Crunch in the sidebar.

  2. Type your question in the chat box.

  3. Press Enter.
Crunch reads your sales, fees, ad spend, costs, and inventory, then gives the answer with the numbers in a table.

Section 4. Ask a good question
You can utilize Crunch to ask complicated questions that you would not be able to get simply by running the report. For example, Go through my sales over the last few months and tell me which items dropped in sales and figure out why.

Section 5. Settings that change your answers
You can give custom instructions to Crunch on your account by going to the settings on the top right of the page.

Crunch settings set the defaults for every answer:

  • Healthy ROI: 30%

  • Hide slow sellers below: 10 units

  • Default time period: Last 30 days

  • Cost source: Default Cost

  • Group by: SKU
Change a setting to change the result. Example: set Healthy ROI to 40% and more items show as unhealthy.

Section 6. Usage and charges.
Each account gets a 1 time $10 credit. After that, you can add add a Crunch monthly plan to your account, plans start at $25. Credits reset every 30 days. Unused credits do not carry over.

Section 7. Accuracy and limits
Crunch is an AI tool. It can make mistakes. Rate each answer with thumbs up or thumbs down. Your feedback trains the next version.
