How the Crunch dashboard works
Your dashboard is where you keep the answers you want to see every day. You write a question 1 time. Crunch turns it into a tile, and the tile stays on your dashboard with fresh numbers.
Where to find it
Open Crunch, then click the Dashboard tab.
Make a tile
Click Add tile.
Type your question. For example: which SKUs lose money after ad spend.
Choose a visualization.
Choose the Crunch insight level.
Click Save tile.
Your tile appears on the dashboard with the answer.
Choose a visualization
Pick the shape that fits your question.
Type | Shows |
Big number | 1 key figure |
Quick stats | A few figures |
Trend | Change over time |
Table | Rows of data |
Breakdown | A chart and rows |
Not sure which to pick? Choose Auto. Crunch selects the format on the first run.
Add Crunch's take
Crunch can write a short comment below the data.
None. Data only.
Short. 1 to 2 sentences. This is the default.
Full. A short paragraph with the impact.
Example: a Full take on an ad spend tile tells you which SKU costs you the most money, and how much.
Change a tile
Click the 3 dots on the tile. From there you can edit it, resize it, or delete it.
Good to know
Tiles use AI, so check any figure before you make a large decision. 2 tiles can also show different numbers for the same metric, because each tile calculates its answer on its own.
