ConnectBooks brings in the tags from your Shopify orders. You can use these tags to see your profit for each group of orders.
Note: ConnectBooks started to bring in order tags around October 1, 2026. Orders before this date do not have tags in ConnectBooks.
Example
You tag some Shopify orders "Wholesale" and other orders "Retail." In ConnectBooks, you can see sales, fees, and profit for "Wholesale" orders and "Retail" orders as 2 separate groups.
Group the P&L by order tag
Open the P&L report.
Set the date range to October 1, 2026 or later.
Click customize, In the Group By menu, select Order Tags.
See tags for each order
Open the Order Report.
Set the date range and run the report.
Export the report to Excel.
The Excel file shows each order and its order tags. You can filter or sort the file by tag.
