Set Default Inventory Settings for New Listings

Choose the Reorder Days and Lead Time that new listings on a store start with in the FBA Restock report.

You can set default Reorder Days and Lead Time for a store. New listings on that store start with these values, so they show up in the FBA Restock report right away.

These settings are only used by the FBA Restock report. They don't change any other report.

How to set them

  1. Open the Listings page for one store.

  2. Go to the Inventory tab.

  3. Click Default Settings.

  4. Enter the Reorder days and Lead time.

  5. Click Save.

New listings use these values from then on. Listings you already have keep their own settings.

What the fields mean

  • Reorder Days — how many days of stock you want to keep on hand.

  • Lead Time — how many days it takes from when your supplier ships until the stock reaches FBA.

Both start at 30 days. You can enter any whole number from 0 to 3650.

Frequently asked questions

Does this change my existing listings?

No. It only applies to listings created after you save. To change existing listings, edit them on the Inventory tab or use a bulk Excel upload.

Which reports use these settings?

Only the FBA Restock report.

Does this work for Walmart (WFS) or my other stores?

Not at the moment. These settings are only used for FBA.

I don't see the Default Settings button.

Make sure you are viewing one store (not all stores) and you are on the Inventory tab. You also need permission to edit inventory settings.

Can each store have different defaults?

Yes. Each store has its own. Set them on each store's Listings page.

I get "Enter a whole number between 0 and 3650."

Use whole days only — no decimals or negative numbers.
