WFS Inventory Report Explained (Walmart Fulfillment Services)

See your Walmart WFS inventory on any date: units available to sell, inbound units, inventory age and asset value.

The WFS Inventory Report shows how many units you have in Walmart's warehouses on a date you pick, and what they're worth.

How it works

WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) means Walmart stores and ships your products for you. Each day ConnectBooks saves a copy of Walmart's WFS Inventory Health report for your Walmart stores. When you pick a date, you see the numbers Walmart reported that day, plus the value of that stock at your product cost.

To open the WFS Inventory Report:

  1. Click Reports in the main menu, then click Inventory.

  2. Under WFS Report, click WFS Inventory Report.

The report page is titled WFS Ledger Report. It doesn't run on its own.

To run the report:

  1. Click the Stores menu, pick the Walmart stores you want, then click Done.

  2. Click the date box and pick a date.

  3. To change how items show, click Customize. You can change:

  4. Click Run Report.

Other settings under Customize, including Group By, don't change this report.

Columns

  • Item: the item name, with its picture.

  • Sku: the SKUs in this row. Hover over it to see the full list.

  • Total: units in stock plus units on the way.

  • Available To Sell Units: units Walmart can sell now.

  • Inbound Units: units on the way to Walmart's warehouse.

  • Asset Value: what your units are worth at cost.

  • % Of Asset Value: this row's share of the Asset Value for the whole report.

  • Damaged: damaged units Walmart received.

  • Days of Supply: Walmart's number for each SKU in each store, added up when a row covers more than 1 SKU or more than 1 store.

  • ATS 0-90 Days, ATS 91-180 Days, ATS 181-270 Days, ATS 271-365 Days and ATS 365+ Days: available to sell units, split by how long they've been at a fulfillment center. Hover over the info icon on each one for its meaning.

  • Last 30 Days In Stock Days: Walmart's number for each SKU in each store, added up when a row covers more than 1 SKU or more than 1 store.

The bottom row adds up the units, Asset Value and the ATS columns. Use Search to find a row, Columns to show or hide columns, and Export to download an Excel file.

Things to know

  • Total = Available To Sell Units + (Inbound Units × units per listing).

  • Asset Value = Total × cost per unit, using the Cost Type you picked.

  • % Of Asset Value = this row's Asset Value ÷ the Asset Value of all rows.

  • Units per listing is 1, unless you display items by QuickBooks Item Name or ConnectStock Item. Then each listing counts as the number of units it holds, so a 2 pack counts as 2 in Total, Available To Sell Units and Asset Value.

  • Inbound Units, Damaged and the ATS columns always count listings, not the units inside them.

  • The earliest date you can pick is November 20, 2024.

  • Only Walmart stores show here. WFS Report appears only if you have a Walmart store and your user has the FBA Inventory Reports permission.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the page called WFS Ledger Report?

It's the same report. The card on the Inventory Reports page is named WFS Inventory Report, and the page it opens is titled WFS Ledger Report.

Why do I see No Report Data?

ConnectBooks may not have a copy of Walmart's report for that date, or the stores you picked have no WFS stock. Try a more recent date.

Where does the cost in Asset Value come from?

From the Cost Type under Customize. If an item has no cost, its Asset Value is $0.

Can I see Amazon FBA stock here?

No. This report is for Walmart WFS only. Amazon stock is in the reports under FBA Reports.
