A bill is what a vendor charges you for products. When you add a bill, ConnectStock adds those units to your stock at that cost, starting on the bill date.
Add a bill
Go to ConnectStock, then Purchasing, and open the Bills tab.
Click "Add Bill". If you use purchase orders, you're asked to pick one first. No purchase order? Click "Continue Without Purchase Order".
Fill in the Bill Date, Bill Number and Vendor. These are required. Due Date, Container Number and Vendor Bill Number are optional.
Add each item with its quantity and cost. If you track warehouses, pick a warehouse for each line.
Click Save. Not done yet? Click "Save as draft".
Tip: Pick a warehouse on 1 line, and you're asked if you want to use it on every line.
Add a vendor credit
A credit is money a vendor owes you back, for example for returned items.
Click "Add Bill". If you're asked to pick a purchase order, click "Continue Without Purchase Order".
At the top, switch from "New Bill" to "New Credit".
Fill it in like a bill and save.
Find bills
On the Bills tab, use the filter to search by item, vendor, type, purchase order, landed cost or upload type.
To see all bills and credits for 1 vendor, go to ConnectStock, then Lists, then Vendors. Click the 3 dots next to the vendor and choose "View Bills/Credits".
