FBA Shipment Transfers with ConnectStock Explained
ConnectBooks automates inventory transfers when you send shipments to Amazon's FBA warehouses, covering two key steps:
Initial Transfer — Once an FBA shipment is marked as shipped, ConnectBooks moves the inventory from your Local warehouse to an In-Transit warehouse.
Final Transfer — ConnectBooks monitors FBA shipments daily. As Amazon receives units, ConnectBooks automatically transfers inventory from In-Transit to your FBA warehouse — giving you real-time visibility into what's still in transit and what Amazon has received.
How to Enable FBA Transfers
Go to Stores & Files → Inventory Files → File Settings.
In the left panel, click Inventory & Warehouse.
Toggle on Shipments.
Click Manage Warehouses to assign your Local, In-Transit, and FBA warehouses for each store.
Once enabled, all new FBA shipments will be transferred automatically. Older shipments are marked as ignored by default — to transfer an older shipment, click the three dots next to it and select Transfer.
Auto Sync
You can enable Auto Sync to automatically transfer all shipments that aren't marked as ignored, without needing to click Transfer manually. Before enabling this, make sure any older shipments you don't want transferred are marked as ignored.
Viewing FBA Shipments
To check the progress of a shipment's transfers, click any number in the ConnectBooks Transfers column on the FBA Shipments page. This opens the FBA Transfers page, where you'll see all transfers created for that shipment.
In-Transit — Units transferred from your Local warehouse to the In-Transit warehouse. This number does not change when units are later moved to FBA.
FBA — Units transferred from In-Transit to your FBA warehouse. This number updates until the shipment is closed.
Additional Options
Ignore a shipment — Click the three dots next to a shipment and select Ignore. The transfer will be reversed or marked as ignored.
View on Amazon — Click the three dots next to a shipment to open the shipment details directly in Amazon.
