Connecting Finale Inventory to ConnectBooks is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Generate an API Key in Finale Inventory
Log in to your Finale Inventory account.
Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
Select Application Settings.
Click on Users.
Go to the API Keys tab.
Click Add API Key.
Copy the API Key and API Secret. You will need both of these for ConnectBooks.
Step 2: Enter the API Information in ConnectBooks
Log in to ConnectBooks.
Navigate to the integrations page, select Finale Inventory.
Paste the API Key into the API Key field.
Paste the API Secret into the API Secret field.
Step 3: Enter Your Finale Domain
In the Domain field, enter only your company’s Finale domain name.
For example:
If your Finale URL is:
https://abccompany.finaleinventory.comEnter only:
abccompany
Do not include:
https://.finaleinventory.comAnything after a forward slash (
/)Any additional paths like
/apior other extensions
Just enter the main domain name before the first forward slash.
Once all fields are completed, save your settings to finish connecting Finale Inventory to ConnectBooks.
Your integration should now be active.
