ConnectBooks simplifies the FBA shipment process by automating inventory transfers when you send shipments to Amazon's FBA warehouses. This automation covers two key steps:

  1. Initial Transfer: Once an FBA shipment is marked as shipped, ConnectBooks creates a transfer, moving the inventory from your Local Warehouse to an In-Transit warehouse in the inventory system.

  2. Final Transfer: ConnectBooks monitors the FBA shipments daily. As Amazon receives units, ConnectBooks automatically transfers the received inventory from the In-Transit warehouse to the FBA warehouse. This provides real-time visibility into your inventory, so you can easily see what’s still in transit and what has been received by Amazon.

Enabling FBA Transfers

To enable FBA transfers on your account, navigate to File Settings and click "Enable Shipments.

You will need to set warehouses for your local warehouse, in transit, and FBA by using the 'Set Warehouse' field for each store. These warehouses will be used for managing the transfers.

Once enabled, all FBA shipments can be transferred. By default, older shipments will be marked as ignored, and won't be transferred, to transfer older shipments, click the three dots next to the shipment and select "Transfer."

Viewing FBA Shipments

You can view the progress of all ConnectBooks warehouse transfers in the ConnectBooks Transfers section.

Click any number in the ConnectBooks Transfers section on the FBA shipments page. This link will take you to the FBA Transfers page, where you'll see all the transfers created for this particular shipment.

In-Transit: The number of units ConnectBooks has transferred from your local warehouse to the in-transit warehouse for this shipment. This value does not change when transfers are made from in-transit to FBA.

FBA: The number of units ConnectBooks has transferred from the in-transit warehouse to FBA for this shipment. This value may update until the shipment is marked as closed.

Additional Options:

  • If you need to delete or ignore a shipment transfer, click "Ignore," by the 3 dots next to the shipment, and the transfer will either be reversed or marked as ignored.

  • Amazon link - Click on the 3 dots next to the shipment to view shipment details directly on Amazon.

  • You can also enable the Auto Sync feature, which will automatically transfer all shipments that are not marked as "ignored", without the need to click "Transfer" manually.

Make sure any older shipments that need to be ignored are marked as ignored.
